Summer, 2010: Same award-winning Summer Camp, Same Instructional Staff, Added Features, New Name

Touch 'Em All Baseball and Precision Soccer announced their new sport specialty camp that will begin this summer at Pace University. The Players Skill Center (PSC) offers a variety of co-ed specialty camps with the flexibility to register for one or multiple sessions for children 6-14.

The major focus of PSC is to generate excitement in athletic competition and provide top-flight instruction to campers wanting to improve in a specific sport or concentration. Camp Directors Hank Manning and Michael Winn each brings 11 years of instructional sport camp experience to the program and together have instructed over 5,000 young athletes. Camp Director Hank Manning states, "What really separates our summer program is the ability for campers learn great techniques, fundamentals, and training methods from a staff who have coached or played at the very highest levels in each specialty." Campers will learn from a staff of professional, collegiate, and high school coaches. We also have a full support staff of current college players to provide proper demonstrations and serve as excellent role models for the next generation of athletes.

2010 Summer Hitting Clinic

Back for the ninth year will be our very popular Hitting Clinic for ages 12-17. During this intense, hitting only clinic, campers will learn the proper hitting mechanics from head to toe. A variety of drills (soft toss, T-work and live BP) will be used to facilitate proper hitting mechanics. Campers will be videotaped and receive a written evaluation of their swings. Walk-In Cage Time at On Track Sports

Choose from 3 hitting areas: T work area, Machine cage, Live coach pitched cage
15 swings per cage round, 10 swings off T’s on Tee work area
Max of 90 minutes allowed, move freely from location to location
Good chance on getting some feedback on your swing by the staff workers!
Summer hours and dates TBA

For one price of $20 you can take as many swings as time allows in our soft toss/T area, machine cage and coach pitched BP cage.

2008 Award

Westchester Magazine® recently chose our camps for a
Best of Westchester® award as an outstanding sports camp.

At beautiful Finnerty Field on the campus of Pace University, located in Pleasantville, young baseball players learn the fundamental skills of hitting, pitching, throwing, fielding, base-running, and team defense from outstanding instructors. Pace Head Coach and Pitching coach Trevor Brown plan schedules that combine both group and individual instruction. Each day, players are learning, playing, practicing, and having fun.
